You can catch artistic director Darrius Strong in an enchanting performance where flamenco and hip hop unite to adapt the 12th century Persian poem of the same name. This dark, moving, and humorous story will bring together Darrius Strong along with original music performed by international flamenco composer and guitarist Juanito Pascual.

In order to make our performances more accessible, The Cowles Center is excited to join other Twin Cities performing arts organizations and begin implementing PAY AS YOU ARE throughout the season. PAY AS YOU ARE pricing asks those who routinely pay the fair market value for tickets to choose to pay that amount. If an audience member needs to pay less, they can choose to pay less – as little as $5 per ticket, while those who are able to pay above market price are welcome to do so.
